Barrington Solar recently completed a tailored solar installation for two homeowners committed to sustainable living. Designed to eliminate energy costs, significantly reduce their carbon footprint, and provide efficient energy management, this project ensures long-term reliability and environmental benefits.
The installation consisted of two properties, each utilising 56 premium all-black solar PV panels mounted on East / West facing roofs. These panels were connected to a 2 x 10.5kW single-phase hybrid inverters. A 27.96kW battery storage system was also integrated, enabling the storage of excess solar energy generated during the day for use in the evening. Additionally, the system supports load shifting during winter months by leveraging off-peak tariffs.
Adding to this, a full optimising and monitoring system was installed, reducing any eventual impacts of shading, and providing quick feedback on system performance making maintenance easier.
These 25.76kW PV systems were carefully positioned to optimize solar generation, with an estimated annual output of nearly 20MWh.
Combined, the two properties consist of 112 solar panels, 4 hybrid inverters, 12 batteries and a full optimising and monitoring system.

This installation is expected to generate a significant amount of electricity annually, reducing reliance on grid power and lowering energy bills.
