Barrington Solar was recently contacted by a client who needed an inverter swap due to their existing SolarEdge inverter no longer working. The client had spoken with SolarEdge who provided them with a free replacement inverter, however, they were to source their own installers.
Following several enquiries to other companies and being presented with either exceptionally long lead times or unjustifiable prices, the client fortunately found Barrington Solar on the MCS directory. Within less than a week of the initial enquiry, we had an electrician on site to replace the old inverter and going the extra mile in updating the client’s app allowing for a quick and easy transition.
Project impact
The replacement inverter now allows the client to benefit once again from their solar generation, lowering their grid demand and their energy bills whilst resuming receipt of their FiT payments.
